Go to the VA DMV site. You need to show evidence for the following:

1)ID
2)Secondary ID
3)Legal Presence
4)Social Security
5)Va Residency

EAD can prove Identity. School Transcript (official) can be used for secondary ID. A letter from uscis stating that you have been given deferred action can prove legal presence (I am assuming we will be getting this). A social security card or paystub can show SSN. And there are a bunch of things that can prove residency.

So yeah you will need a social to obtain a VA license

Thank you!

I guess if i'm accepted I would use my passport and EAD for IDs and then i'll figure out the rest.

Sorry to burst your bubble but passports without visas an i94s CANNOT be used to prove anything. I'd reccomend finding something else to use. The list of acceptable documents is pretty broad so I'm sure you'll have something

I think yo ucan still use the passport as a form of ID, but it certainly won't prove legal status.

By the way I go to GMU too

Oh nice! I had a feeling there had to be more undocumented students at Mason.
