So i have my Bio Appt for 10/09/12 and Im not really in a hurry but my hope is to have everything by the end of this year. Do you guys think if I wait and not try to do a walk-in I will have everything by the end of December? Is the 4 to 6 month wait for people that are just barely getting started?

Honestly, it's hard to tell how much the process will take... For those you were already approved, the whole process took a little over month, but they sent their app on the 15th, they did walk in the next day they received the app. Also, let's not forget that there were only few applicants waiting. However, I think if you get your bio done asap, you may get it before December....

It is really hard to say if you are going to be receiving your EAD by December. If the processing time continues to stay as it is, then you will get it before December. But you can estimate or use your experience. Usually in work environments in the beginning it is slow so people can be helped faster. Towards the ending it gets really busy, and can result in delays.

Hopefully 2 months from the Bio is enough time for them haha it all went down so quick it would be really disheartning if thay made us wait 4 to 6 months but i geuss its better than nothing

They have enough staff to process 250k applications at the current pace. Currently there are only 80k applications, so you should be getting it sometime in November as long as there is less than 250k applications being processed, otherwise it will be delayed.
