how to check status online?

I just mailed my application this morning and it wont be delivered until tomorrow morning. How do I go about checking my status online on uscis.gov?

If you filled out and included the G-1145 form, you'll get a text or an email or both with your receipt number. Put that into the USCIS case status field, and it will show you.

if you've just sent out your application this morning, you have to wait at least 2-3 days until you have your G 1145 receipt number. After that, you can track the progress of your application using the receipt number.

I mailed mines days ago (since they don't work weekends) so I'm suppose to receive something either by tomorrow or so and i can check my status online?

You cannot check your status online until you have a receipt number. The receipt number will either come from G-1145 notification via text or e-mail or when you I-797c is mailed to you.

I have my receipt number from the text but its not showing my status in the web yet,,,, is this normal?

same here, it says my case cannot be found....

Yes, that's happened to a lot of people. Check again when your I-797c comes in the mail and if it still doesn't show up , some people had luck by calling USCIS and they were able to do something on their computers to make it show up.

and is that when you'll know if they got routed as well?
i'm so anxious to get something already lol.
