My biometrics appt is soon approaching. I've asked this question before but have still not gotten an answer.

Post biometric GIRLS: Since you girls have ALREADY gone to your biometrics appointment, if you wore bangs, was that acceptable or were you told to put them up so ur forehead would be visible.

Please, no guessing.

I'd think they would want no bangs. Play it safe and give the bangs a rest for the day.

I would go no bangs.

Quick question. Anyone wear glasses for the passport photos? My Jamaican passport has a picture of me without glasses. I wear my glasses all the time, but I'm not sure if I should wear them for the photos that'll go with my application since I plan on getting contacts soon.

Remove the glasses. It causes glare and obscures your identity. People, these questions are a bit superficial. Let's just play it safe please. Nobody is going to be seeing that EAD picture other than people who matter, such as your employers.

Did you even read the question? Freshh isn't asking about the Biometrics photo, but rather asking about the I-765 photos for the application.

I remember reading somewhere on the Internet that for passport photos in general when glasses are worn, they have to be a specific design and specific form of lenses in order to blend in with the picture. Based on how specific those rules are and how hard it'd be to match them exactly, I'd recommend no glasses just like your passport picture.

I read the question and my answer remains the same for both biometrics and passport photos. Don't complicate things. Be as naked as you can be while looking decent. Nobody is watching your EAD other than you and your employer.

^^^True, it is safer to leave out as many accessories and sweep back any hair that may prevent those viewing your photo from seeing your face clearly.

Ur wrong. Please try not to guess. Only post if ur 100% sure. These are NOT superficial questions. They are legitimate and they do matter. These "superficial" things could delay a case if the right thing isn't done.

@ fresh: The instructions indicate very specific requirements for people who wear glasses. Although I don't remember the specific requirements they can be found on the instructions part of the employment authorization form.
