Has anyone gone to this USCIS office in Santa Ana, CA for their biometrics? I have a conflict with my appt and am not sure if I should try to do a walk-in. I would feel more comfortable hearing if someone was allowed or not allowed to do a walk-in.

And do we really need to leave our cell phones in the car or just turned off?

It all depends on where you live.

I can see that your application was rerouted to CSC.

If you don't mind asking, what county do you live in?
----------------------------------------------------------------
If you don't care about getting rejected, just do a walk-in and get your fingerprints done. So far it seems like most people who did a walk-in got their application approved. If not, just wait it out; it's not going to kill you!

I live in California. Yeah, I think I'm going to try and go in sometime this week.

I was there at 730. Ya. It was busy. But I never said anything. Guard looked at my Id and form. And said go on inside.

Everyone is super nice at this USCIS service center. It was pretty empty when I went and everything went smoothly and quickly. You can bring your phone just keep it on silent and make calls outside.
