I was just watching the news talking about us "the dreamers"

They calculated over a Million Dreams, and they said it has only been 83.500 requested.

Did you think it twice? or jump right to it?

I know i did jump to it right away.....

Would you tell your friends to go for it, if yours has been going good so far?

Yes, the number is still very low. That's why the process is going pretty quickly.

I jumped right into it. Thank the universe for this website...it's helped me for years.

I have three cousins, and a friend who MAY qualify. They contacted me saying if they were getting citizenship. -_-

One chooses not to because of criminal background (not disqualifying), and my cousins choose not to because of a lack of education. All of them have chosen not to. Why anyone who wouldn't apply for this is beyond me. But hey, I'm not going to judge. Everyone's situation is different. Some Dreamers have genuine hardship, and some Dreamers....well, better left unsaid...

i think people are just very cautious. it honestly seems too good to be true because we are all so use to being in "bondage" that when someone finally lets us free the majority will not trust it. i jumped right to it because i dont want to go through life saying what if i couldve done it. if obama isnt elected at least ill have my ss number and permit by nov and they cant take that away from me i told my fam to do it its just there are those grey areas like leaving the country etc that they are afraid will get them rejected. so everyone has their reason why they are or are not applying.

I think they're idiots. Many of them have asked me if they should wait until after the elections. I asked them why and they can't give me a logical answer. I swear they don't know how politics work in this country.

Then we have the folks who are now trying to get their GED so they can apply. Why didn't they have this from before is beyond me. The DREAM Act also requires you to have a GED. Why not get that out of the way years ago, so you're ready on day 1 when they pass the damn thing?

Losing faith in my people(Dreamers).

Cautious about what? They couldn't deport us all at one time before DACA. They didn't miraculously get the resources to do it now, and they never will unless they want to bankrupt the country. Grey areas I could understand to a certain point, but half of those people are really just uninformed about what the instructions say. Most of them haven't even taken the time to research DACA on their own. It's all hearsay with them.

I'm too old to think twice about it, I did it so I wouldn't have any regrets in the future about not applying. If I'm denied then so be it, I finally get to move on with my life either way.

Misguided concerns about the program and money problems are two main concerns in my opinion.
