Hey guys...

I'm doing a separate post to my update here (http://dreamact.info/forum/showthread.php?t=31648) to help a few who may (hopefully not) go thru the same as I did.

Basically, I missed my biometrics appointment because the notice came the day after I was scheduled. I walked in early the next day (today) to see if I could get it done even after missing my appointment on Monday, and they let me do it with no problem. The people checking didn't seem too concerned about the date, and they said it was ok even when I pointed it out. I read here that they give at least a week leeway to get it completed if you've missed your first appointment, so me going a couple of days after wasn't a big deal.

As far as ID goes, they accepted my expired passport with BC, mostly because some of the people that registered/checked me have already dealt with DACA cases, so they're not so douchy about it. I brought my I797 too just incase. The security is a little tight...at least in the PHX ASC...so I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND going for walk-ins unless you already have a notice. That's the first thing they ask.

Anyway, thanks guys for those who replied to my previous post.....totally helped me out big time!

I went to try and do a walk in yesterday morning at the Phoenix USCIS and the guard told me that they only allow walk ins after your appointment date and not before. It's so lame though since so many walk-ins have been allowed in other states. I hate living in Arizona and can't wait to get out of here. But at least it's a good thing for those people that for some reason missed their appointment date like you. Good luck!

Hmmm...that is weird. I was there yesterday morning too. Was it that one white guy guard that knows Spanish? He looked douchey...Lol. I thought they would've let you in as long as you have the notice tho. I say wait until your actuall appointment. From my experience, the people there were actually nice....they make you fill out a feedback in the end, so you can trash them if they're bitchy....so just come back on your actual schedule.

I don't even remember which guard it was, but I don't think he spoke spanish. Yeah, I'm just going to wait for my appt. It was just a week anyway so I figured I would try my luck, didn't actually think I would get through.
