I have my biometric appointment this Monday. I expect a response by late October.
I do feel that I will catch the "notification checking syndrome" after my biometrics, but I will try my best to resist. Also, I don't think my process will be done as fast as some of the others. I expect a response exactly a month later from USCIS. The longer they take before November, the better (elections). 
Wish me luck for the biometric and the waiting game for EAD approval and SSN! My next thread will be of my Approval/Rejection!
