Where were you on Friday June 15, 2012?

Hi, i am just very curious.... where were you when Obama made the announcement, who call you to watch the news, how was that day, what was your reaction?

I was at work. My dad called me at 7pm to tell me and I was like "yeah okay" since he is wayyyyy too optimistic about everything. The next morning I came on DAP and I was like "whattttttt"

Just got home from my sister's middle school graduation.. Turned on to CNN and it said Obama was making a speech for children of undocumented immigrants.. I'm like whattttttt

I was home. My husband gets news pop ups on his iPhone. He texted me the link to the news article as soon as he got it. I was happy about the annoucnement but at the same time, I was concerned.

I was at work, almost about to cry because I was getting so frustrated with something. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I looked at it and it was my breaking news app saying Obama would grant work permits to young people. Aaaahhhh I was so happy and confused, I couldn't believe it.

I was at the park walking my dog and when I got back I had that nice surprise. I didn't know what to make of it. lol

My grandma called me and told me to turn on the tv. I was so happy.

I just graduated from college a few weeks before. I got off work at 5pm and checked my phone and saw a lot of text from my friendS asking if I saw the speech Obama made and if it applied to me. I got home and found the clip on CNN.com and I couldn't believe it

Well I would not have remembered had it not been for having to submit proof of that memorable night. I went to watch magic mike w a bunch of girls including a fellow coworker. After the movie they decided to go to a night club and since I carpooled with them I couldn't object. I was denied entrance to the club and was outed by the bouncer in front of my coworker who was shocked yet friendly. I was able to get into another club down the road where I proceeded to drink my a$$ off until it was time to go.

Ahh great times, great times. -_-

Heard about "something big" coming on that day from DAP MEMBER ERIK1421 through inside sources at around 5:45 am - 6 am in the morning. Then went to Gaby Pacheco's wall on facebook and there were all sorts of congratulatory messages like "We did it!" I knew instantly that Obama administration was about to defer our cases. Then I saw breaking news announcements at work. I remember very clearly the month or few weeks prior to the announcement there was incredible frustration sentiments on this forum. We were cursing left and right because Rubio was delaying the release of his imaginary bill. Some including myself even referred to the end of this year as the "end of the road" for the Dream Act meaning either DA were to pass, Obama were to issue an EO, or nothing would happen signaling final failure. What a prediction that was!
