Received my ead on Monday the 24th but my middle name was spelled wrong by one letter on the back of the card and my receipt also had the same mistake on the middle name. On the front it only shows my middle initial which was correct so technically my name is correct on the front but since the instructions said to call if anything at all was incorrect I did, now waiting to see how long this whole process is gonna take, i was tempted to go in and get my ssn but I guess its better to wait till everything matches and is corrected. Just sucks that now I have to wait however long for it to be fixed.

You need to make an appointment with INFOPASS to get it fixed.

When I called I was told to wait up to 15 days for uscis to contact me regarding the mistake and I clicked on the link you provided and my case doesnt fall under any of those categories, so I think I'm required to wait like they told me to let me know the next step, it could very well be an infopass at that point.

I think this is all because of you. You shouldn't have gone to take your biometrics before fixing the name issue. That's why they first send you a receipt and ask you to check your information for any errors. If you never call them and you just decided to go do your biometrics then of course they're going to assume that there is nothing wrong with your information and proceed with the biometrics.

She knew about this mistake before biometrics?

I read her post as it being a mistake on the EAD alone, a mistake on USCISs side...

My full name on my biometrics appointment letter was correct including the full spelling of my middle name. All other notices have only had an initial for the middle name placement which was also correct so it wasn't because of me.
