really debating on this... I have my biometrics appointment in 3 weeks but a part of me cant wait, especially seeing how some people had already received their card. My parents are against it. They said that its better to follow their rules and show to them that we are willing to cooperate and we are patient. On the other hand, I'm getting IMpatient >_<

I dont live very far from a center, in fact, there's one closer to me but in my appointment letter I was assigned to one nearer to my school than the one nearer to my house. Funny thing is that my brother was assigned to the same center even though he doesnt go to my school.

Do it.

Also, I was kinda reluctant to do a walk-in because I was thinking "What if they fuck up my case?" but you just fill out some form and everything else is done through a computer using your receipt number.

If you wait until your appointment you'll be setting yourself back 3 weeks for no reason.

Please listen to your parents, some folks were able to get earlier approvals due to walk-ins, but there's no guarantee that it'll continue as an increasing number of people begin to apply. In order to be on the 'safe side,' I'd recommend going on your appointment day. It'll be here before you know it....

I would do a walk-in if I didn't live like 2 hours away from the center. I say give it a try the worst thing they can do is turn you away.

I went on the appointment date/time and I felt like I wasted time by waiting. It would've been absolutely no problem if I had just went in earlier. They don't even glance at your appointment time/date.

I walked in and they did me within the hour. They won't yell or scream at you for coming early to your appointment.... Actually you might just wait a bit longer in the building but thats about it.
