Hello,
I tracked my EAD card today and found out it was 'out for delivery' on October 6th, I called USPS and they said they would start an inquiry about my package. I also called the last facility where it was sent out from here in Houston and they told me they sent it back to sender: Kentucky facility. Does anyone know how I can contact them to let them know they have to mail it out to me again and that yes my address is correct, just that USPS messed up sending it across town? I called USCIS and was told there was nothing I could do until next Monday (after the 7 business days the card was supposed to take to be delivered). Or should I just wait to have them figure it out? Thanks in advance!

You should call back USCIS and ask if they have the correct and exact address on file.

I did, and they do... seems like the sorting facility messed up and it was sent back. USCIS said they can't do anything -_- I'm stuck.

OMG, it's official. I hate USPS.

OP, the good thing is that at least you know where it is. It seems like you are stuck until Monday, damn. Can you request another mailing service?

I doubt the US government would use anyone other than their own service to mail official documents.

I figure, but it never hurts to ask... USPS stays losing on this site, it's a damn shame.

The most important documents of our lives and we're the ones who have to figure out what happens when the postal worker makes the mistake.

USCIS won't even look into it. I'm praying it was sent back to Sorting Facility to be sent to correct post office instead of all the way to Kentucky as they told me. Either way, USPS is supposed to call me back tomorrow to let me know something

No, I didn't know people used their names on the mailbox anymore. Where do you live? I have never seen a mailbox with a name, just the numbers in all my years living in Houston What did you tell USCIS? I told them it was sent back and they said they couldn't do anything at the moment

I live in NY. When I went to get my SSN and my State ID both places also told me to make sure my name was on the mailbox or I would not get the documents. Just write ur name on tape and stick it to the box. I did a service request, whatever its called this was about 2 years ago.
