Hey guys, since we are purchasing 2 year visas and can renew every two years when can we apply for citizenship? Are we considered citizens? Like, can I say: " i am a productive citizens and abide all laws" ??

NO. This is NOT a Visa nor does it offer permanent status. Please read up on it if you are confused. You CANNOT apply for citizenship under DACA.

-Not a visa, just a work permit.
-Does not grant legal status, just legal presence thus not a pathway to citizenship (or permanent residency).

I'm amazed how clueless people are. Also, don't take the two year renewal for granted, if Romney wins you can forger about it.

It can also be called a visa but that doesn't make you a permanent resident in order to apply for U.S citizenship.

I think you can only apply for citizenship if you're already holding a GC. Any other visas/resident permits would have to have a GC pathway then, and DACA isn't one of them.

That's right! GC before citizenship...
