Are we now eligible to purchase a home just like anyone else if you were approved for DACA?

Yes, once you get your social and build credit, you can apply for a loan on a house.

it "does not expires but on the top part it will say something like 'please see EAD' or this SS works only with EAD" I'm not sure,,,, and by law they have to check your EAD soooo make sure to renew your work permit every two years and don't get behind..

I'd be a bit more cautious on this and say it depends on the conditions of the loan. Most banks might prefer an individual with a more permanent status.

RAYADO1 stop speculating all the time, if you're going to give out facts, do the re-search then answer the questions yeah ?

it'll say “VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION.”.. and once your social is issued to you, its for life.

My dad bought a house in 2005 with a SSN that he received in the 80's when they would basically just hand them out lol.

I'm sure we can, maybe there's other agreements or banks might require more information. I have no idea haha, but my dad did it. Why can't we?

I'm sure you can. The only issue is finding a lender. I just got approved for DACA. I and the fiance are buying a house but the loan is going in her name. Let me explain to you what the lender said

That I have no credit history so that's a no go. They are looking for credit scores over 700
They want job security so if you get a job now it won't matter they want see you working there steady for at least two years.

The biggest hurdle is going be the credit score and job history. Once you have that there are various programs thaslt are good for people with low savings such as fha which only wants 3.5 down payment and closing costs bundle onto the loan.

As for the future they will probably ask for a cosigner that way someone is responsible for the loan in case we all get denied in future and potentially deported.

I tried with chase, phc, quickens, wells Fargo they all told me the same.
