Hahaha, I thought it was new because there was a bright yellow button next to this link on the SSA website.

Since when did this validate? I went to a SSA office two days ago and they told me to bring my birth certificate because my passport wasn't enough.

Huh that's strange because all I brought was EAD and passport. Is your passport expired? Just bring your birth certificate since they asked.

Yes, mine was expired. But the agent would not even ask for it. It's just that it would take nearly two weeks to receive my birth certificate from my home country.
I am going back to SSA office again with my EAD and my expired passport along with the notice that the OP privided.

Great thanks to the OP!
