First, I'd like to say I've lurked here since the DACA announcement and got a lot of useful info here when it came time to fill out my application. Thanks to everyone here helping people.

Just got a letter telling me Employment Authorization was approved and I got the card that expires in 2 years. My question is, will this be the only thing I'll need to apply for work? Do I have to apply for a SS#?... already have ITIN. I thought I'd get 2 letters and more details, but maybe since it's Saturday, they got split up. The letter I got had very little information along with its good news and (almost fake looking) card.

Go to your nearest social security office with your EAD and birth certificate and ID apply for a SSN the office will then verify your documents with DHS meanwhile SSO will give you a print out that you have apply for a SSN and you should get your card in 2-4 weeks... Depending on your state you will be able to apply for a state ID with your the letter from SSO! Good luck to you and congrats on your approval!
