SSN card letter return address question

For those who received their SSN card in the mail already, was the return address from your state or are all SSN cards being mailed from the same location?

I applied on Oct 19th and have not received mine as of yet (and most of you are getting them in 4-6 days after applying).

Wondering if the hurricane is having something to do with it if is the SSN cards are being mailed from the east coast.

It might be delayed because of that, mine came from Baltimore.

Not from California where I am from. It was from Maryland so maybe they will be delayed because of hurricane.

Baltimore was hit hard. My friend down there told me its hell on Earth. This might further delay SS card processing.

I got mine from Baltimore today. They mailed it on 26th

Seems the SSN cards are then coming from Baltimore, Maryland. Yeah definitely might answer why some of us are going to expect delays receiving them in the mail. Damn you hurricane!

I was expecting my card to come tomorrow since many are receiving it in 5 days, but waiting a week or two more is not a big deal.

what are the 1st 3 nos of some of your ssn mine is 179 this originated from Pensylvania but i am in california // what about you guys nos??

I applied for an SSN on 10/22/12 and it arrived on 10/26/12. It was issued the same day I applied. It came from Maryland.

Maryland is fine guys. No need to worry. Minor damage here and there.
