A bit of confusion

Hi just on the website I saw that my EAD card is in production but my I-821D hasn't gotten updated and still says Initial review , but what I wanted to know of that's the norms for that to happen?

Your I-821D will get updated soon. Mine also wasn't updated at the same time. Give it a few hours, if not a day.

It will update soon. If it doesn't update, be prepared to get 2 letters in the mail saying you were approved

I have another issue with getting the SS# what will i need seeing my passport is expired and the only thing i have other than what I am expected to have is birth certificate and school ID will it be sufficient?
