My application for DACA was sent 2 days ago. The lawyer who prepared it sent a change of Address form too. I have not moved in a year and I'm not planning on doing so for at least another year. I don't know if it's required to send one if you are not moving but she said I had to. Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone know if it will affect me in any way?

I think you should have sent application, then sent a change of address form days before move out so then they can update your records, i think now its gonna be kinda confusing, they won't know what adress to use, just my opinion though, your lawyer might be right.

Well it's definitely not a requirement that's for sure.

If you've been living at that address for the past year, then it should be listed on your I-821D form as your current address (from mm/dd/2011-Present), there shouldn't be any need to fill out a 'Change of Address' form.

It's probably the AR-11 form. All aliens in the country are supposed to submit that form to USCIS within 14 days of moving. Nobody does.
