If you havent receieved your SSN, can you get a bank account with only an EAD?

Depending on the bank's policies, you can even do it with your foreign passport.

You can do it with just any form of government ID at most banks (Chase, Wells Fargo & Bank of America that I know of).

I go a bank account with a raggedy matricula EAD should be fine.

You can start a bank account with only your passport. But it would be better if you wait for your SSN and then apply.

I got a bank account with "bank of America". They used my passport.

i recently got a bank account from chase and they needed 2 forms of id. so ead+passport should be good.
