How long till Approved?

Hello all, I went to my Biometrics appointment for "Deferred Action/Work Permit" on 11/5

I was wondering how long does it usually take for them to approve it and for me to actually have the card?

Also, will I be eligible to get a Social Security Number after I have been approved?

A while. There's some August Applicants who did their Bios in early September and still nothing. The service centers approvals are slowing down

next month hopefully, I've seen people get approved 18 days after their bios and get the card 5-9 days later.

Received Letter: 12/14/12 Received EAD card: 12/15/12! YAY THANK YOU GOD Got my social:12/18/12 and applied for my ca id too and it was fast

well with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays coming up..you would have to expect around January to get approved unless you're one of those extremely lucky people who will get approved 2-3 weeks after biometrics.

Over a month waiting for me, it can take as long as 2 months or more. Just be patient.
