Hi, I will be applying for a job at Kroger, possibly.. Home Depot by the end of this month... I'm just a bit worried that I won't get the job due to lack of work experience...

there's a section in the application to write down past work places...I won't have anything to fill out.

They also sometimes ask you during the interview for any work experience..

Could I possibly (at least for my interview) mention volunteering experiences and service I've done for church?

or should i just say no work experience?

You could hand them a resume a USC friend of mine did that when she applied for a job and she only had extracurriculars and she got it. I think it all depends on the position you're applying for.

If the position is entry level and they provide training then you should definitely apply and leave the space for experience blank but if they require previous work experience, then just do your resume or write a cover letter with the little volunteering experience you have. Good luck!
