Has anyone gotten a RFE for applying with the Matricula instead of a Passport? My friend got one today because of that.

Was it expired? I've never heard of that, and it doesn't seem logical. I sent my package with a matricula only as well and was approved.

No i don't think it was expired, i guess it was just the agent that is reviewing his case!

Did it include a birth certificate with translation? I'm sure they want more than one form of ID and make sure it's VALID too.

Yea he did!? I think its pretty weird since he sent all that, but i guess its just the agent thats reviewing his app. I hope that doesn't happen to me because i sent the matricula too.

Did he already get the RFE in the mail?

Yea, he got it today, they told him to send another form of identification, he had already sent a copy of his matricula and his birth certificate, but i guess that wasn't enough. I sent the same things too, that why im a bit worried. I'm hoping i get an agent that's cool with what i sent.

What's a Matricula? Excuse my ignorance.
