Hi Guys,

My daughter has been sent paperwork to get her Biometric test done in FL. She does not have any photo ID, but she does have I94 from 2003, I sent her passport with the application for DACA (probably a mistake) but it was out of date. Does anyone know if it is Mandatory for her to take Photo ID, her appointment is Nov 23rd.

Take her school IDs and birth certificate and hope the guard lets you in. If they don't, ask to speak to a supervisor.

Yes, sending in her passport was a bad idea. That is her proof of when she first entered and you don't get those documents back.

I'm pretty sure it is mandatory. I had to use my passport, but it wasn't expired.

Bring any IDs with a photo on them at least.

You shouldn't have sent the passport, USCIS doesn't need the original documents (just the copies) unless they specifically ask for them.

She will need some sort of photo identification. Hopefully your daughter has a school ID, even from a few years back. Is it possible for her to apply for a new passport before the scheduled biometrics?

Better to get em now. You will need the passport when applying for Social Security afterwards. School ID or Birth Certificate should help!

No you won't. You only need your EAD and Birth Certificate to apply for an SSN.

-_- Birth Certificate won't do for bios... Passport would be valid for both bios and ssn... That was my point
