I tried when I first got my biometrics letter but failed that day because my service center is super busy. Aparently they do about 200 people per day and they sometimes don't even have time to take their lunches. I asked the guy if it was like that everyday and he said yes. I haven't tried again and the next closest one is about 2.5 hours away and I do not want to make the drive to be turned away.
I went to the Portland, OR ASC.

Have any of you tried more then once after a fail? Do you think that they are really catching on that everyone wants to speed up the process and rejecting them just for that?

Also has anyone actually tried to reschedual your biometrics the way that you are suppost to by mailing that back and gotten a sooner date or much farther way?

Please wait your turn, if you wanted to ''speed up'' the process then you should've applied on an earlier date. Please follow the instructions to avoid creating unnecessary confusion. Allow the case officers enough time to process the applications of those that have been waiting that applied before you. The least you could do is follow the rules for the process.

yeah i most likely am just going to wait. Less then 3 weeks I can do that. Lots of people have been approved before their schedualed biometrics date while others have been waiting over two months. Just got to keep busy.

Please explain how walking in has any effect on the process..? There is absolutely nothing that I have seen that shows that walking in has an adverse effect. If you have factual information please share.
