Case Status cannot be found on USCIS website help!

My two brothers receipt numbers work and they have already been accepted. I had the biometrics exam a week before they did and im still waiting to hear from them. Please Advise...

Were you ever able to see your status online? Maybe you're entering the wrong number. Have you tried both receipt numbers? Make sure you're entering the letters at the beginning too

I know a lot of people that have the same problem, that haven't been able to check their status online because it says that their case cannot be found, you should call USCIS

I entered both numbers and still nothing..I called USCIS and after a 40 minute hold I spoke to a representative and told me that there was a glitch in the system and i would not be able to look up my case status online :/ Sad part is that she told me that my case still under review..

Wow, I had no idea some people were not able to check online. That's completely unpractical but at least they have your record at USCIS so you're assured that's it's being looked at. I'd give them a call every week just to make sure you get the news as soon as you can and make sure you get your notices in the mail.

Thank You! On November 19 I checked online and my status was updated to approved!
I got my work permit about a week later...now im waiting on SSA to send me my SS card.
