I would like to move to the San Francisco Bay Area...I have no idea where to start. Basically, I would have to find a job and get a studio...

Anybody else have any ideas as far as jobs or living there.

Thanks in advance. Any information is appreciated. I live in Arizona and have visited the bay before and absolutely love it compared to AZ.

A studio will probably be $1000+ in San Francisco not exactly sure it could be more, if you rent a room you can usually find it around $500. Try looking at http://sfbay.craigslist.org/.

Rent in that area is definitely cheaper than San Francisco. In regards to jobs, what kind of industry are you looking into?

I don't know anything about San Francisco and its geographical make up...but I do know that your status allows you some benefits!.

Don't take the cash benefits or the issue of a public charge may become a problem for Residency!

That's the thing. I'm not sure what industry to go into to... I wouldl like to attend community college there, transfer to UC-B, then UCSF for Med School...Then go to NYC for residency. But IDK how to get to where I am now and transition to actually finding a job over there and moving there and starting community college...

AB540 requires that you attend a California High School for 3 years to receive in state tuition. Someone that does not qualify for AB540 was told by their residency officer that they could apply after 1 year of living in California with DACA for instate tuition.

I am assuming your very young. The areas of San Leandro and Hayward to me are a totally different world compare to the City of San Francisco. I think the area of Daly City is even a little closer. Oakland and Berkeley are right across the bridge but rent is more expensive. As far as I know the living wage in SF is higher though.

That is really awesome SuperGSPorty! I wish you the best of luck. I'm also looking to move to CA soon. If you ever need a roommate, lemme know.
