The status of this service request is:

You will receive a biometrics appointment notice as soon as there is an available date and time at your local ASC office. Due to backlogs at some sites it may take more than 60 days for this appointment to be scheduled.


I can only wait, right!

How long ago did you apply? Yes, all you can do is wait because until you have biometrics notice with appointment date, you can't even do a walk-in.

They received my application on October 9th, they sent the receipts on October 12th, I received them on October 13. That was the last thing I got from the in the mail, its been about 7 weeks. I called after the 30 days just to make sure it wasn't lost in the mail but the lady on the phone said they have not sent anything yet but she would open a case to find out what was going on. Then I got that email.

Seriously...my brother is able to apply for I-765 (EAD) though something other than DACA because of the situations he's in and its been over 3 weeks now and still no receipts in the mail. And when he called they said it can take as much as 30 days just for a receipt, hopefully he doesn't have to wait up to 60 days for biometrics appointment

What City? Do you guys think it has to do with walk ins. I don't think your future appointment is canceled when you walk in???

I'm from Chicago. You know, it might have something to do with walk-ins, but 7 weeks? I wonder if it has to do with age or amount of documents you send. What ever the case is I hope is just standard procedure.
