It is a mediocre attempt by the republican party. The white house rejects it. Such act does not provide path to citizenship, and requires applicants to meet with immigration officials every six months. It will fail in the senate since democrats do not support it. The Dream Act is most likely to pass in the near future, and not CIR. Please people read reputable news source, and think about it. Have a good night ya'll!

So, you want people to stop talking about it so you made another thread about it... to tell others not to talk about it?

Ok.

Ok.
Not to mention it was posted in a forum devoted to strictly all things immigration reform.

Personally I see the Achieve act as a starting point. Sure it sucks right now but it was designed this way to leave room for compromise. At least its an effort, and we all know that the Achieve act in its present incarnation has no chance of passing the Senate.

The archive act isn't for EWIs or DACAs you need to have a visa to qualify for it

Yep.. Even tho I'm visa overstay and would qualify for this easy I still don't want it.. They need to keep the DACA requirments and not water down the dream act so much that it makes us second class citizens.. If they're gonna pass something like this I'd rather them pass nothing at all tbh..

My only issue with the Achieve Act is the fact that it doesn't provide a pathway to citizenship. So we're supposed to spend all this time here and never become citizens? That aspect makes no sense to me.
