This time at an elementary school in Connecticut. Not sure how serious it is. But to me a shooting is a shooting and this is serious. Kids are involved. Seriously, what is wrong with people? Does shit like this happen in your home countries? I know there's shootings everywhere by gang members but I'm talking about shootings like these where regular (not mentally) civilians go out and attack regular civilians. Surely things like this don't happen in Canada or else we definitely would've heard about them in the news. I have not heard of things like this happening in my back home country. Sure there are armed robberies with accompanied shootings but NEVER regular people fatally attacking regular people. Incredible America.

It used to be worse. Google Columbine. I remember having to do evacuation drills constantly after that.

[Updated at 12:48 p.m. ET] "Close to 20” people have been killed, including at least 10 children, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation says.
WTF is up with these psychopaths??

This is horrible and one reason why I believe there should be strict laws when it comes to owning fire arms. I don't care if you're an arms fan or believe I'm trying to take away your right to bear arms because I see things like this happen where innocent people especially the most innocent people in the world...children get hurt. People take it to far and there's crazy ones out there that destroy families and our peace.

I don't want my siblings or children to go through this. They in no way deserve it. I will say one thing I believe if you have issues and want to kill or hurt then by all means do it to yourself please but do not get anyone else involved it is not their fault that you are going through such thoughts.

Most of them are little kids.

Thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. I hope the number does not increase they say it's worst than Columbine.

WTF is the solution for this? This will keep going and going unless we think of a solution to STOP this types of stuff. Lets not get into this whole gun law argument right now. Lets think small local possible solutions. Is it possible to implement TOUGH security at EVERY public location ? Surely if we can spend billions on wars, we can spend some of it on local domestic protection! How about put metal detectors at EVERY entrance of EVERY public location. I wish somebody hit that guy with a baseball bat on his head..I don't respect him even though he's dead. Obama has another issue to deal with in his second term! I sincerely hope he gives a damn and doesn't ignore...Virginia, Aurora, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Connecticut...and so on this violence will continue!

I know anyone can purchase a gun anywhere but they will have to do some enforcing since sometimes a background check is not even done. I have no respect for him either he deserves no respect for taking away the lives of 26 people. I agree domestic security is important now don't leave it for later Mr. Obama.
