Our EADs supposably expire. So, what happens then?

I know that its possible to renew it, but I don't know at this point if its even guaranteed. I mean, do you just go or call in and ask for an extension on your permit or do you have to resubmit the same evidence plus more to get it?

Also, to most people, two years isn't really enough to finish college/university or obtain enough work experience in order to advance to a better job. To me, it seems like a dick move to just give you a taste of life and then take it away after certain time. Afterwards, returning to your old ways before you had "semi-legality".

I'm speaking out of concern here and I'm sure I'm missing something. Does anyone else share similar worries?

Just life dude. Do as much as you can the next two years, and do your part to get CIR/DREAM passed this year. It is not just complaining about politicians. Do your part too. Make some calls, go to meetings, write some letters.

This, and as for evidence your EAD and Legal Presence is enough because you're officially recognized by the government.

2 years aren't much by at least you can drive now and travel without fear and all it costed you was 465 I would think with Obama now in office for sure the program will last long enough to happy for another 2 years.

stop complaining, be glad you were able to qualify, and do as much as you can with what you've been given. Also do your part so DA/CIR pass before those 2 years are over and stay out of trouble.

Yeah I've lots of people here complain about this. Some user even bitched why "forcing" us to do school or military for DA was lame. Feels like some of us have forgotten what the main objective of the dream act........

yea and not just that but getting too anxious to know the renewal process. I understand the curiosity but we need to take a chill pill. Focus on the now on what we are able to do now. Enjoy our EAD/DACA status...haha XD

omg i've been wanting the DA to pass since I first heard of it because I want to get an education!!! I want to have a career and be financially stable.

Who said DACA force them to do anything? If you don't want to go to school, then don't. But then you don't qualify. Honestly, the things some people complain about is ridiculous.

In two years (rather sooner than that so you have no problems at your job), you'll have to renew DACA. I don't think anyone that gets approved this time around won't be able to renew it. Maybe the kids that are stupid enough not to finish a GED or high school... Maybe

Was it really complaints when all I thought I was just posting my concerns? Huh.

As for my time, I'll do what I can and just 'enjoy it while it lasts' like you say.

I personally was referring to what other posters said OP

But to answer your concern, I doubt there will be trouble getting a chance at renewal. If the government decides to suspend DACA for any reason, a lot of people will not be happy. The implications of not continuing the program will be disasterous to anyone that stops the program.
