Eligible for any College Financial Aid??

Hello my Fellow dreamers. I will be attending Texas A&M this fall. So once I get approved for DACA will I be able to receive any types of Aid?? Please leave your comments. This question may have already been asked but I couldn't find it anywhere.

p.s. I live in Texas.

I'd also like to know- I'm in Florida.
From what I've heard, no. But some schools do offer instate tuition, and that helps.

You're entitled to in-state tuition if you are considered as a state resident.

I go to UT, and I received enough grants from the school to cover tuition plus some. My GPA is average but I did say my parents don't work. However, I applied for A&M as well, and they said they weren't able to give me any aids. BTW this was last year before DACA was even announced.

I have been hearing lots of story of users here going straight their schools and telling them their illegal status and getting 4 years paid, maybe you should try that?

You'll definitely be able to apply and get loans from the university. You can also get university grants (all with your social #). But depending on your state, you might or might not be eligible for state grants/financial aid. Like in CA, you can receive state aid because of the CA Dream Act. But in Arizona...
