FBI BG Check

Hello,

I am a Chilhood Arrival. I been ask to do an FBI Background check. This is for a Canadian Spouse sponsor. So before i fill the application to the fbi, is their any danger of doing this?. Can i use fill the application do the fingerprint and be fine, or are they any worries about it? I am 100% sure i do not have a rap sheet. Never been arrested. Only thing i may have is a tardy ticket from school wich was clear out. That was about 6-7 years ago. This is the only place i thought i could get an answer. Thank you

Don't worry about it, its perfectly safe. I had the same FBI check / DOJ background check for my employment.

Do it asap it takes about four weeks to get back a reply from the fbi

So if i do it through certix live scan. I should be ok right?

Livescan might a whole different thing. My friend did her livescan but it was only for a state background check. I thought the fbi required you to send in a fingerprint card? I may be wrong.

They say do both, its 25 for the fingerprints and 17 to send it to fbi.
