I graduated last year but couldn't really find a job for obvious reason. I have a mechanical engineering degree, got my EAD approved last week, but I still need to apply for a social and a DL. Do you guys think DACA will be an issue? I would hate to not being able to find a job after the all the college hard work...

i have sent over 200 resumes so far, and only 2 phone interviews and 1 onsite interview. I have a master in mechanical engineering. There are a lot of jobs out there, but most of them need experience.

I sent out one resume (no reply) and had 1 cold call from an HR recruiter at a local company that led to an in-person interview (failed badly, didn't get an offer).

I'm not sending anything out yet because I'm waiting on my documents which looks like it may take a few months at this point

I have no experience, but I'm hoping my GPA (3.95) opens at least a door or two for me..

Edit: What are your thoughts on sending out resumes? I don't want to go through a process and then have them find out I have no EAD (yet) and that they have to wait another 3 months..

I am currently going for a BS in Electrical Engineering. I got a job doing research at my school in Power Electronics, I don't know if that counts.

keep in mind work experience only matters if it relates to the job you are looking. I am looking at this job from intel for a Product Development Engineer Job position which requires no experience and its aim at college graduates. I hope I get my EAD/SSN soon
