well i got biometrics coming up this wednesday so i still have some waiting time till approved. I'm not in school and i have no job not because i am lazy. I've had a job prior to applying for daca. anyway i get really bored at times my daily routine is breakfast, walk dogs, work out, clean up the house, help with dinner/eat,walk dogs, sleep. those are pretty much the things i do throughout the day, if i get bored ill watch tv,play xbox, read a book and get online. i am getting very bored, so my question is what do you guys do when bored?

Find a place to volunteer. It is like a job but your not getting paid. But, you can at least write in your resume. Because the fact that you are just at home means you won't have anything to write once you are able to work. So, do something.

actually you find time when you are working. ive held a job that required me to be there from 11am-9pm 6 days a week and i found time to be able to do everything I've wanted and needed to do. ive had decent jobs so my resume won't look as plain

That sounds like slave labor, but did you go to college while you were doing that? props to you if you were able to do that. Even if your resume doesn't look as plain. People will ask what you have been doing the last six months. I have only worked 9-5 jobs 5 days a week, and that is what I'm hoping to get once DACA approved.

WE have a book thread going if you want to participate. We are going to read the Alchemist by Coelho.

I spend my time with similar task as you as I don't have a job either and I am done with college. Nothing much interesting to do. I am just preparing for GMAT exam for Graduate school. I think that's the only productive thing I am doing.

I know what you mean when you get more personal work done when you have a job. You are on time schedule so you have to get things done.

studying for gmat is very productive. It takes tons of time and dedication. When are you thinking of applying to mba?
