Wouldnt you rather start a chapter that anyone can join? Instead of selecting a group of people? You/other members interested in the start up may have valuable information to help out students who arent Latino, but also those who might feel excluded from your group.

I know, but I think that needs to change. Start your own movement kind of thing.

I'm a little confused at what youre trying to say. Yes, Associations for professionals in finance and accounting do exist, just like associations of latino professionals in finance and accounting also exist.

Why start the latter and not the former? My question was why start a group that only a specific group can join and not one that everyone can join. Does that imply that groups such as Association for Professionals in Finance and Accounting dont help latino's specifically, therefore they have to make their own?
