How long did it take to receive your RFE in the mail?

Not sure if I should be worried or just being impatient. So how long after the updated did you get the letter in the mail?

it really depends on where you are, for me it took about 3 business days, i sent that thing back as soon as i could.

send it back via EXPRESS mail, trust me... your file will have priority over other cases.

AND HERES THE COOL PART!! if its really easy to respond and you send in concrete proof, then you will get approved in no time, so really an RFE is possibly the best thing to happen to SOME.

Thanks! I'm just waiting for the thing to come in the mail. It says that it was mailed out on 1/22 been waiting for it to come in ever since.

yeah they say it was mailed out on the 22nd but its probably post marked on the 23rd anyway... you should get it today maybe, don't quote me though.. just relax lol.. .

If you don't get it after 15 days, call USCIS and put in a Service Request so that they can look into it.

My sister's case was updated back in December 15 with an RFE and it was never delivered and it turned out to be a false update, an RFE was never issued.

WTF? RFE's can be a mistake?!?!

No, but she did get an RFE lol.

Her case updated on January 22 with an RFE, it arrived on Friday. We sent it back Saturday.

But yeah, the first one was a mistake. If you don't get it after 15 days, you can call in for a Service Request and when the Service Center responds to the request they will either re-mail the RFE or give you an explanation of what happened, like in my sister's case.

i got mine 3 days laters, sent back a week later and usually they postmarked the next day

Haven't received it. Called them to ask what is going on they put in a service request.
