Bad experience with USPS

I was approved last week on the 5th and my EAC arrived to my local post office this past Monday; however I haven't gotten my card yet.

Long story short, I moved last month and did the forward request on the 28th. I even notified USCIS of course. Now, I've gone and called USPS about my mail but they have no idea where it might be.

A lady said they would ask her supervisor and then call me back. Never did.
Yesterday I went in person and they said the mailman might had left it in the old address. (What?!)
And finally today I called again and they said I should call tomorrow at 8AM before the mailman leaves. Arg.

From what I learned by the way is that when you forward your mail, even though it arrives in your city, they send it to your state's capital city and then from there it goes to your new address. Ridiculous!

Anyway, hope this gets resolved. If not, fortunately I have an appointment which I made to USCIS on the 21st. Fingers crossed

I've done the change if address a couple of times now. Usually if you did it before you received the letter, the change of address would take effect and the letter will be forwarded. . You get your mail a couple of weeks delayed and in my experience I've just received a bunch of letters at the same time. it did take a couple of weeks longer for them to arrive to my new address, but everything arrived. So if EAD was sent out feb5, it should be arriving next week to your new address bc of the 2 week delay. Hopefully thats the case for you, good luck and Keep us updated

Update: Ah when my parents did it and it took like a month for her to get all her stuff forwarded, but everything arrived.

usps has the worse service. I was mailed an rfe on jan 25 and to this day the rfe has not arrived. I did everything on this earth but niet no mail. Imagine i only hav a month to reply to uscis or else the case will be denied. Its crazy.

Did you do a Service Request yet?

Yes after 15 days. They said that they'll send me a copy but so far nothing yet. It's been 2 days since I made the service request though. Hopefully i get it soon.

USPS is expected deliver my EAD today but there's no EAD in the mail just a bunch of junkmails, is this normal ?? :/ lol

I didn't get my ead until one day after expected delivery.

Mine was delivered on the day they said it was gonna be delivered. U should get a text/email alert anyways, so im sure u have nothing to worry about. I knew mine was delivered when i was on my way home actually...longest drive home ever. Lol

It's good to see us August folks getting approved...i knew it must of killed u to be waiting this long and ur stuff was in Cali.

Yea man there are still some that are left but I am sure they will be approved before 6 months. I can relate to them.
