Need help with scholarships/grants/aid

Hey guys, first of all my brother and I were recently approved on 2/4 waiting on our ss cards now.

Here's what I need help with, he's a senior in hs and he has quite a few schools (all private) recruiting him for football, he'll most likely receive some offers in the coming weeks, so my question is...what type of scholarships/grants/aid can he accept from these schools?

Any info will be appreciated, thanks!

Basically any as long as they don't have an issue with him just being dacamented. The only thing he can't get if Federal Financial aid.

Ok thanks. I know there is different types of grants (I dont know which ones football programs give out, my brother would have to find out) but even if it's a federal grant he can accept it? or is that considered Federal Financial aid?

That is considered federal aid.

usually as I understand football scholarships are usually considered institutional aid because they are provided by the school.
