Last night i was about to have sex. Everything was great until i put on the condom to penetrate her, i lost my erection right in the middle of sex.

What the hell is wrong with me.

It was my first time. The condom made my pennis feel numb. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with me?

Please dont laugh.

P.S is the social security ofiice open today. I have to get my ssn.

Lol don't listen to this guy, always use a condom if you don't wanna end up with a kid/std

Everyone loses a vomer once in awhile, weather it be you're nervous or not attracted to the person, or just tired. Don't dwell on it too much my man, it's all good.

even if its a current girlfriend. unless you both get tested at the same time, there is no assurance that you will not get an STD, and even if you get tested, stuff can happen, not all tests are 100% accurate, not all relationships are with two honest people or even an infection that can also be transmitted through sex can be acquired in other ways.

But to respond to the OP. The most common problem, specially for those having sex for the first time, is focusing and stressing too much about performance. That kind of stress has the tendency of backfiring and developing the result that you observed.

But on the side of the condom. If it felt numb, unless it was a condom with a lubricant specifically designed for that effect, it could be an allergic reaction to the lubricant. The advice from a few sexologists I have known was to look for non-lubricated condoms and supply your own lubricant, a very important aspect to consider is to get a water based lubricant such as astrogel (most common recommendation from different sexologists I have met). There are oil based and silicon based lubricants, and what you need to know about those is to consider the material of the condom, if its a latex based material oil and silicon based lubricants will affect the integrity of the condom increasing the risk of failure.

Something else to consider is the very material of the condom, I believe the stastic is something like 3-5% of people are allergic to latex condoms. There are alternatives including polyurethane condoms (Skin brand are most commonly made of this material), or even sheep skin (they tend to be the most expensive, Trojan has a brand that is made of this material, can't recall the name).

There are also various kinds of condoms with differing thicknesses and lubricants that generate different feelings, and the search for the right condom that satisfy both participants in the act is well... a complicated task, in time you might realize that you have a preference to a particular brand and type.

Worse advise ever. Try different condoms and figure out what works best for you.

You might just be having an adverse reaction. Have you tried without the condom?

Contrary to popular belief, most people have had an STD without even knowing. With the advancement of medicine in this day and age...most STDs are treatable, unless youre with someone who has been active throughout most of her life (ie. Porn Star)

In regards to convincing her to heed this advice, start with something basic:

PS federal holiday, call first.
