I always suspected O'Reilly of being a hypocrite with his so-called "humane views on immigration". Rivera was completely right; O'Reilly turned a family tragedy into a political weapon to wield against illegal immigrants. Instead of focusing on the fact that the guy had many other accounts of drinking problems with the law, he was real quick to make this about immigration. By him getting angry first, he lost the debate. Had he just pulled out facts instead of spewing angry rhetoric, he proved that the anti-immigrant groups have no solid argument except bigotry.
