I heard that this is not normal. I know I sent out both forms and I only have one receipt # for I765. Did anyone experience this or knows what it means? I'm so worried now

I think you need to look at the letter you got, read it well and see what it says so that you can better explain your situation.

I recived only one letter, the EAD and thought that we have one case number for both ,but that was not the case .The DACA letter was sent to my old address(moved from there 5 years ago) and i had no idea,so when i was approved for EAD i was reading here that everyone was approved for both at the same time.So i called the USCIS and the funny thing was i had no idea what my case number was for DACA,the lady told me i had to wait 30 days from my EAD approval and should call again.THANK GOD i recived the DACA letter (APPROVED)three weeks latter and that letter again went to my old address and when came to my address the letter had my address on top of the old one.SO wait till the end of the week and if you don't get anything just call you never know.

However, I went online, made an account at USCIS and put the receipt # with LIN. IT says "I821D" under forms and "Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" under Form title. nothing about I-765. So now I'm definitely confused. Any ideas what it means?

You said you have the I-765 Receipt, yet how do you have the I-821D Receipt Number?

So if you enter the LIN number that's on the I-765 letter, it shows up as I-821D?
