Yes, you must register via mail using the form provided at any post office.

Took a couple of months for mine, I think.

im 19....i registered last year...but since my mom is the one handling all that stuff for me i dont know if i already got a card.. ill ask her....

Does registering actually help you get legal faster? It's not like you have much priority with the dream act, you still get GC after 3 years.

if you dont register then when you wanna become a citizen they may deny it based on that, you have to write long ass letters explaining why you didnt register and they may pardon you.
