That is some story. I'm surprised you did not know that you were undocumented untill you turned 21. How did that happen?

wow, welcome first and foremost, do not get married just for papers. INS is very on to that kind of thing and it will only get you in more trouble, i think. also, don't turn yourself in because, like ppl have said, they won't think twice b4 they kick you out, and it sounds like you've worked really hard for the life you have now. though, it wasnt your fault, they don't really take that into consideration, so don't expect any pity from them. it sounds like u guys overstayed your visas, like a lot of us, so it seems like your best option is to stay and hope for this current bill to pass. i noticed you said you have a job w/a major corporation, and a college scholaraship, and a social security card. does that mean that when you applied for/received these things you applied as a citizen, because that's what you thought you were? if so, and they find out, i am afraid that they could be taken away from you, but i am not completely sure of your situation, so... It sounds like you may need to go speak w/a lawyer again, maybe some better ones, about your options if you stay in the States. There are plenty of ppl here that can offer advice if you need it, so dont hesitate to ask, and just try to live life one day @ a time,

please don't turn yourself in and don't let people like Lou "Satan" dobbs make you feel guilty for being here. just think, although an "alien" (sorry, i love that word ) you are in a better situation than most, you have an SS, a job and even people paying for you to go to college, so as bad as it is, it could be worse just hang in there and let us hope it all works out.
