This may be a bit off topic, or maybe not...

Well, you see, I came here 6 years ago with a stupid tourist visa, right? Stayed here since then, visa expired and all that.

The question is, do I really need a passport to travel inside the nation, and is it risky to do so because of my status? Like..flying from Florida to Washington State for example...

I really want to move to one of those states and see if I can get into a college in the meanwhile... but that's one hell of a drive... and considering gas prices nowadays...

unless you have a DVM issued id/dl, ur best bet would be to ride the greyhound bus.

taking a bus is your best bet like africana said. it'll only set you back 200 dollars tops + food on the way.

it's a lot cheaper but it's harsh on your buns.

n nose as soon as one person uses the toilet, the whole bus turns into a zoo but it is worth not being stopped by cops.

yeah i believe they just check your id to make sure that you are the person on the ticket. So i don't think it matters if you use your foreign passport as your identification.
