So I need to vent a little about my Taco Bell Job.
I know, I know at leat I got a job, but here is my vent.

I have been working at Taco Bell as a cashier for about a
month now. As anyone that has worked in any fast food
restuarant, it is very fast paced.

During the first week I was doing ok, but now that is
starting to change.
Working at Taco Bell in So. Cal. 90% of the employees
are hispanic including my two female managers.

Here is the thing. At many-a-time one of the managers
go on thier power trips. They tell you to do this and do
that and give a big old lecture about how you are not
doing your job.

I work until the restuarant closes at 10 PM.
Now here is the thing, my frickin manager wants the
restuarant to be literraly super duper clean.
I have been doing my absolute best at taking orders,
taking out the trash, cleaning the restrooms, cleaning
the parking lot, cleaning the tables, sweeping and mopping
the dining room, and I also forgot. cleaing the windows.
All of this I do on MY OWN.

IF in the last hour many customers come into the restuarant
I TRY and TRY my best at taking thier orders and doing my best
to do all the stuff I have listed. BUT if there are a lot of customers
towards closing time I will NOT have time to do all of that by the
time I am suppose to clock at (at exactly 10pm).
Yesterday she gave me a lecture at how
I am not doing my job.

Has anyone that has worked as a cashier been through this?
I pray and hope that other places I have applied to give me chance.

One last thing, who ever was the absolute super-duper douchebag
that said "the customer is always right" go and hang yourself.
I grant you 99% of the time people are nice, BUT there are ALWAYS
customers that are not in their right mind and are completely wrong
with something beleive me. So go and hang yourself.

You could try getting a graveyard shift job. Your chances of being murdered go up and the weirder people come out, but overall, it's more tranquil and has a better pay.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw this

5. College Professors – Communications 79.2

In the top 10 for satisfaction. I took a public speaking class semester. It was clear my professor loved doing what he did, lol. The class was hella fun, too.

Yeah, I've noticed that. They're always optimistic, talkative, and tend to derail from the subjects they are supposed to teach. The same goes for many other Humanities courses. They are basically paid to fuck around.

You have to put up with your boss, who barely graduated from high school, your co-workers, who half of them are under the influence of some drug, and then the customers, who for the most part are OK, but not a single day passes without having to deal with a few assholes. And then there's the stress that comes from having to rush out orders when dozens of customers had the very same idea of going out to get food after work and eventually some co-worker fucks up an order or forgets to restock something and everything goes to hell.
