I just got my license last week. and now I'm going to get car insurance. I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to how I should go about getting car insurance. The deal is that I have been stopped twice some years ago. I got 2 tickets for no license and 1 for no insurance. I'm wondering if when they ask if I have tickets, should I say yes? Will those tickets show up even if I didn't have a DL# back then??

I really appreciate any advice any of you may have for me. Thanks!

It sure depends on who you ask and with luck you might find someone here to help you out in the right direction. But with little else background, the only suggestion I could offer you is this: Why not call a few insurance agencies give them the truth, omit it in others an act accordingly to what best fits you.

If you didn't have any papers like SSN, or DL, and you paid everything off, I doubt that any of that is on your record. Even better if you have a common name. Might as well try to get insurance and say no. If they find out, then they'll just adjust your policy or kick you out.

The above is for entertainment purposes only and not legal advice.
