How to get your SSN printout after applying at SSA?

Well quick question! I want to get a print out of my SSN number to update my work information. Do any of you now how long after applying for my social can i go to SSA to get an actual printout of the number? Thanks in advance.

You can try going back 2-3 days later after you applied and ask them if you have been assigned a number. If they say yes, ask for a printout.

They don't take long to mail out your actual SSN card though. Maybe you'd rather just wait for your card to come in the mail, mine too about 6 days counting the weekend. Unless the SSA office is close to your house it's worth getting a print out. The one I had to go to was a good 45 mins to an hr away from my house.

My SSA office is around the corner takes like 3 mins to get there. But it is always packed!!!! So idk what to do. But at least i know that i can go get a print out in a few days.
