I'm sure that this has been asked dozens of times already, so sorry for that. Would somebody who has been approved for DACA and has a state ID, SSN, and EAD be able to travel across the country via plane? What about internationally (for vacation purposes)? That's still a big no-no, right?

You can travel the USA via plain even with out an EAD, ID, all you need is a valid ID it can even be a foreign one. And yes, if you leave the country you automatically lose DACA. If you want to travel to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or any other USA territory outside of the mainland, make sure its a one way flight meaning it does not stop in other countries

Actually if you have been approved, got your working permit / ssn doesn't make a difference you can travel with a vaild passport throughout the US EXCEPT PR, ALASKA, HAWAII...it use to be that you could travel to theses places using just a drivers license but now they want to see your green card or your US passport.

Ah... So it's a risky situation? I would rather play it safe then and wait to know if I am approved.

So, since DACA protects dreamers from deportation, border patrols can't "get you" during domestic travel?

yeah basically, we are still "illegal" as the day before DACA but deferred from deportation for 2 years

If you're traveling to a border town I wouldn't recommend doing it until your DACA is approved due to increased CBP presence and checkpoints. Traveling anywhere else within the US (including Hawaii and Alaska) should be fine. TSA doesn't care about your legal status; they only want to see that you are who you say you are.
