Our Action Plan

we have so many threads floating around... so how about we put exactly what we want from all of our members here on this post.. wats are our plan for the coming days... like tomorrow do we just call durbin?

well, there are three options to think about.
plan A, just ask Durbin to bring up Dream ASAP, and let him decide what/when/how to bring/attach
plan B, ask Durbin to attach it to the MUST PASS education bill NOTE: not the one that Bush is going to veto.
plan C. ask Durbin to bring up Dream by it self.

personally, I think plan C is the best of those three.....i mean we cant just wait until the DREAM gets attached to another bill as an amendment, which we cant even be sure if it will be passed.

people and many articles are saying that DREAM act's got some strong supports... then why does it have to be an amendment of another bill all the time ??

The DREAM ACT always had strong support. That's it. We got to fight and keep calling to make it an overwhelming support such that it'll be enough to pass. Whether it comes up by itself or attached as an amendment, we must keep up with what we are doing now and push even more. FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!!! FIGHT!!!!

this question might sound stupid, but if you say dream act has always had strong support, why is the dream act still not passed after 5 years??

mmm. i have never though about that. probably that "strong" support is not as strong as we though or as it seems.

Durbin will know what to do. We shouldn't demand anything.
